Expanding Possibilities:
At CS, we’re always looking for ways to help architects and specifiers achieve the perfect balance between performance and design. That’s why we’re excited to introduce three new models in our architectural louvre range: RS-5215, RS-5225, and A-2097.
These additions deliver the high level of rain defence and airflow performance our louvres are known for, whilst adding aesthetic versatility to our portfolio.
RS-5215 and RS-5225: Compact, Stylish, and Performance-Driven
Both RS-5215 and RS-5225 are part of our Architectural Line family. These double-bank louvres are just 135 mm deep, making them significantly shallower than many alternatives on the market, or even our existing double-bank solutions. Their sleek horizontal front blade design offers a clean, continuous look that architects love.
At the rear, vertical rain defence louvres ensure Class A rain protection up to 3.5 m/s, verified through third-party testing to EN 13030. The rear units are powder-coated black as standard to reduce visual impact, while the front blades can be powder-coated or anodised to suit the rest of the façade design.
- RS-5215 features a 54mm blade pitch and offers Class 3 intake and Class 2 extract airflow. It can be specified with either a continuous front blade configuration or visible interlocking mullions, and is best suited to low-level applications.
- RS-5225, with its inverted front blade at 64mm pitch, is designed for high-level installations, where sightproofing from below is preferred. It offers Class 3 intake and extract airflow performance.
Both models are modular, factory-assembled, and easy to install. They’re particularly recommended for large-scale projects where only small or irregular active openings need protection from wind-driven rain. In inactive areas, blanking panels can be used within the rear frame, offering significant cost savings without compromising the uniform façade appearance.
When specifying these models consideration should be given to their weight (38 kg/m2 for the double-bank system) and the requirement for vertical and horizontal support structures

A-2097: Slimline Ventilation
The A-2097 is our shallowest ventilation louvre to date, at just 53 mm deep. With a horizontal blade pitch of 48 mm, it’s designed for applications where space is limited but airflow performance is critical, especially in mechanical extract scenarios.
This model offers Class C rain defence at 0 m/s, with Class 1 airflow performance for extract and Class 2 for entry. It’s available with either visible mullions (to align with façade features) or hidden mullions (for a continuous line appearance). The hidden mullion option increases the depth to around 130 mm, but maintains the slimline blade aesthetic. An optional glazing frame is available for easy installation in captured or SSG glazing styles.
The A-2097 can be specified in compact sizes, as small as 100 mm x 180 mm with the standard frame, making it a great choice for curtain walling, residential buildings and storefronts with small openings above doors and windows.
